Boy has this month sure gone by fast!!

The last few months have been somewhat hectic for myself, I've had a lot going on in my personal life and that is why I haven't been on here.

Come January I hope to pick up on my Blog post's and making jewelry again. I've been getting bits and peices for making new things, just haven't been able to get myself to do anything. I will spend time re-organizing my items and cleaning my area up!

Summer has been pretty busy for myself, and I notice it has been for other's too! What have you been up to this summer??

I've made new items, but before I even got photo's they sold at the market! That's a sad thing but a happy thing! I haven't had much new to post because right now I am loving doing peyote stitching! Which means less items and more time. But I am going to see if I can get some new items done up in the next few days here, so keep posted!

Trying to make my blog button AGAIN

I've tried doing this many times- for hours....and keep getting frustrated...i think though know I know what I have to do...let's see if it works!

So mad! I am trying to improve the looks of both my blogs- but man sometimes this can get frustrating! Well after 1.5hrs I'm giving up for now.....Going to take a few minutes to break and then have to do my new post that I am very excited for!

Working on Working!?

Besides being sick with my first Summer cold (btw they are always the worst as far as Im concerned)lol,
I am working on working.....does that even make sense? lol It's funny as summer has come wtih the sun and warm weather I thought it'd be easy to create my jewelry. But for some reason, it's not been like that. I want to just be outside in the sun! OOPS!

So with that being said I am working on a few different idea's right now.... I don't want to give away all the details to it- but I am excited for it! The base of the bracelet is a peyote stitch bracelet- then i have come up with putting different things on the bracelet! I think the two I am making will be a good hit! I love making the peyote bracelets, but I find it's hard to price them- they do take time to make but I enjoy that time!

Lately I've been putting focus on my journey blog called Earrings A Day. If you've not seen my talk about it, I will tell you what it's all about! For one year I am making a pair of earrings every day for one year! Every month I take those earrings and have a goal! I try to sell half of that month's earrings - they are only $10.00 each (plus shipping). Then I take the other half of earrings and give them away either randomly or via games on FB! So if your a following of the blog you can win and if your playing games you can win! Also if you purchase a pair of earrings your name goes on the list and you have a chance to win a jewelry set! Not too bad right!

Summer is close- I can feel it! Can you?!

Well after a bit of a break from blogging I am back! A mini vacation and now back to life. The weather has been a little gross but today was a great day, sun was out and you could tell kids were enjoying it! The school year is coming close to it's end, so my daughter is excited about that! This will be an interesting summer- living at the place where we usually have our summer vacations at! But I am looking forward to it!

Life has become unexpectedly busy!

With the nice weather comes busy days! I find that I am on here less now that it is so nice outside! So once a day, probably eavnings I'll be on here (maybe twice a day/mornings).

My daughters school had a carnival the other night, and it seems like it went pretty good! Kids had a blast and I think the adults did too :o) I know Kira had fun! They had a silent auction and then items that you could put your name in for to win- we wond three of the items somehow! lol But I won a great prize for myself shampoo/conditioner w/ a gc to a place that does things like body wraps and stone massage...things like that- so hopefully I can put some money aside to use the gc by the 12th! I am excited to use it :o)

Here's some things I've been working on lately....

After 1 yr of trying a few times, I finally have peyote stitch figured out! yay! Here's a few of the bracelets I've already done!

I've also been working on some hair accessories, here's a few of them!

This clip used to be a clip on earring! I made one into a hair clip, and the other is a ring! (you'll see them together in the next photo). I also have a broach that goes with it and plan on making a necklace with it, and sell them as a set when it's done!

Found some cute buttons and decided to use them!

Mothers Day Sunday

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day today!

This morning I was up early for an out of town soccer game. I was the first one there- lol Set up the field and waited for everyone else to arrive. We didn't win this game, but the kids did really well this game! Kira even scored a goal! So proud of her for that!!! I think I am even enjoying being assistant coach!

It rained so bad yesterday that I thought we would have bad weather again today, but we are fortunate that it's not been that bad of a day.......little sprinkle's here and there, but for the most part it was good.

I've been working on a few different items of jewelry lately, been finding it a little tough though....almost like writers block! I think i will begin going to the farmers market here soon, as I need to make some extra money and want to get selling my jewelry!

This necklace is cute...the stuff I got from the art store here, is interesting to work with.... It's comes in a tube shape and is like a netting- you slip beads into it to make something. In between the beads I used a large hole bead to space it out....there are different types of netting- one is clear like in the picture, then there's one with silver flecks and one with gold flecks.... It switches up a plain bead and give's it texture at the same time!

What else....oh yeah, this is what I am trying to work on right now..... I'm having trouble finding the right glue that will work for my items- but I am wanting to do some hair accessories...here's what I've done so far....

This last photo is a pendant....Using thicker wire and thin wire, then I added some saphire on it.... i will just add it to a black chain, unless someone want's the pendant alone or on a silver chain.

So today is going to be a more personal blog.....I need to hear your feedback on this- and share with others as I dont know what to do.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Okay-

Do you think a person has the right to take away your rights? (I know this alone doesn't make sense- so I will elaborate for you all)

The story-
Your family backround isn't that great (you love your mother but she is mentally unstable- has been all your life). She has a bf (been with her for about 5yrs- he's a scum bag). Long story short one night he egged you on- to the point where you'd lose it on him- so there's a physical altercation- he chokes you, you hit him with a bat to get him to let go of you (though you barely can do that because you are light headed). Rest of your family is the same way as your mother and boyfriend.... Basically they have to be in the middle of something that is going on- look at me kind of thing.

So you decide to stay away from all family members. 5yrs later you find out your mother is ill- I mean really ill! She's at the stage where nothing can be done- she leaves the hospital to live out the rest of her days (stage 4 cancer).

So even though things have been strained all your life you can't change the fact that you love your mother, always have.... When your grandmother says she wants you to visit your mother and mentions it to your mother--- first thing that's said is from the boyfriend "if he comes anywhere near here/her/us I'll call the police"!

So this goes back to the question at the beginning again.... Does someone have the right to take your right's away- your right to see your mother for the last time.

What would you do in this situation?? I am stumped on this! I've known in all of 10yrs of being with my husband, that no matter what crap he's goes through with his mother and grandparents and sister- he loves them very much (he can't really hide that from me).

Please share this with others and leave your veiw or feedback, as I dont even know what to say to my own husband. I know we'll be going to the funeral- and I know it'll cause a commotion, which i dont really care about..but he has the right to see his mother... she's weak and just agree's with her boyfriend, has since the beginning...... it's sad though.

So far my hubby is doing okay- really holding it in though... As far as I am concerned he has the right to see his mother...but if she is agreeing with the boyfriend nothing can be done. It's not like we can sneak to her place, her bf will always be there sense he's on income assistance.

Today's been an alright day for myself.... just trying to organize some things and get a few things done. Got some new photo's that I will be adding to facebook of necklaces and such, I've also been doing some crocheting- did some scrubbies, I'll share those photo's too!!

This next couple of weeks I will be working on some new items, as soon the farmers market will be beginning again! This year I am really excited about it :o) I am sharing a table with an older lady who's such a doll! So I'll be sure to take some photo's of that too!\

I have not been keeping my end of the bargain- every three days- Lets see if I can get in gear here!
Spring break is over, and things are slowly getting back into gear!

I have been working on some different items lately, I will share them with you- I have yet to put them up for sale in my shop (I will start putting the new items on Etsy throughout the next few days!).

What a day it was yesterday- two people close to me were having bad day's yesterday, I felt so bad for them both! It is crazy that everyone has bad days, and the difference in their bad days are so different!

My girl friends fiance was just having a horrible day- poor guy! He didn't get called in for a shift at work and that's how his bad day started! From there he went to go groceries (his fiance is 34 weeks preggo's)- at the store he had problems with ppl blocking him and not listening to him asking them to move (language barrier). Then the lady at the till didn't pack the bags right, so when he got home the meat had defrosted on some other stuff and ruined it- while he was trying to salvage it another things dropped- JAM all over the floor! (and he just washed the floors that morning! At one point after being mad he scared the dog by walking by or something , JD yelped and ended up being scared of him for a few hrs- then at another point he accidently dropped something on the dog! He was so frustrated! It's one of those days that your spouse can laugh out loud about this- and it's one of those days that you will eventually laugh at too!

The other person to have a bad day was my husband :o( I dont want to get into too much details of course, but basically the person he was working with for two weeks, he was also staying with (as he's out of town on a contract).... The person and another guy jumped my husband because he wouldn't lend them money for what they wanted to get. Long story short- neighbors called cops, one guy took off and the other arrested (and will be charged)! My hubby apparently got it bad (in the last 5 yrs he's not had anything like that happen to him). So he's pretty sore today, and in the morning he will be driven home- He will have to come into the hospital here and get seen by a doc again....I'm guessing it would hurt to have a jack daniels bottle hit you in the head- 1 inch gash from that- black eye- half tooth missin/bottom front teeth loose-goose egg on head (concusion)-knee/leg stomped on pretty good....who know's what else!

Such a difference in bad days! It goes to show that we all have bad days, and things happen that we do not expect to happen!

This brings me to something else that I want to share with everyone! I friend invited me to a group on Facebook, I accepted and realized that it was about! This store kicks at my heart, as do some of the other one's I've seen! I want to share some of these stories in some of my blogs, to get awareness out there and maybe you will take it upon yourself to check out the groups or causes for yourself, and help out too! One mother raising money for Autism! I know about autism and how it effect's lives- and this one mother is doing what she can to help! Here's her story!

Plushland Fundraiser

My name is Jessica Phillips.I have an 8 year old who is on the spectrum.He was diagnosed at age 3 and let me tell you it is a life long struggle.Most people are unaware of autism and the effects it can have on not just the child but the entire family.

This is why I chose ot raise awareness and sell the plushland bears.We had recieved a autism awareness beanie bear from our walk coordinator for raising money last year for our towns walk.Living in a small remote town where nobody likes to help or small mom and pop businesses can not afford to sponser it is hard raising money for a cause wich nobody understands.

Racking my brain not wanting to give up I glanced over and saw the bear setting on the shelf.It was then it came to me.Both children and adults like bears.So I searched and found plushland bears fundraisers.I got in contact with them and worked out all the details.After all it is easier to "sell" bears and the proceeds go to the cause.This way people are not JUST donating they are getting something in return.

This still did not work 100% so I again racked my brain and decided to again give.....For every 10 bears that are ordered I do a drawing for a SCENTSY surprise.It seems to help that way everone loves scentsy.So now not only are they donating to autism and getting a bear BUT they are also getting a chance to win.

I have a huge passion for this cause.Organizations like easter seals and make a wish do not even acknowlege these children and adults....The govenment is even turning there cheek the other way and making health insurance cuts claiming that these children do not need extra care.I can say this from my heart and soul. It is very crutial for them to get help.No they may not have a life threatening illness. BUT YES they do have a lifelong illness.Some of these children will never be able to talk, never be able to feel,and never be able to look there parents or loved ones in the eye and say 3 simple words"I LOVE YOU" and actually know what that means.

A Long Overdue Post !

Well it's long overdue for me to do my blog post! I have been sick and still am stuck with this cough that is dry and is absolutely killing me!!! Nothing is working for getting rid of this dry cough- I am going to go back on my asthma puffer tomorrow to see if that will help lessen it at all. I will cross my fingers!

Im finding I am still being a little more girly.....I've still been emotional, especially about the whole baby thing! This is driving me nuts!! I need my hard shell of an exterior back! lol What I really find funny is I was doing a google search to find a photo to put in after my last comment, I used the words 'hard exterior' in my search and this is one of the photo's that came up!

I love that man! One of my fav actors <3

But back to the whole baby subject- I have joined this group on facebook, and I just dont know how these parents do what they have to do- or even their daughter deals with daily! On March 17, 2011 Camryn Hunter was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Kingston for the next 4 to 8 months.

The group is there for people who want to send support and love to the Hunter family, and even there are people who are doing things to raise money to be able to help out the family financialy. The amazing thing is Camryn is only 3 yrs old!

There was a video posted up on the group of when she was born- the song, the pics, the words- all went together seamlessly, and watching the video makes you feel like you know this family! I am pretty sure that if you watch the video you will crack a tear or two!

A Prayer for Camryn is what the group is titled- please go and show your support. from time to time there are also updates on Camryn from her parents <3 They will be in my thoughts and prayers daily.

It is such a happy moment when we have children, and at the same time is very scary as we dont know what lays ahead for us all!

Spring Back- Fall Forward ??

What a day I had today! Have you ever had a day where you are pretty sure you've gone through every emotion ever possible?? I think I had one of those days today.

I seriously have felt everyone of those faces today!

The last few months have been long for us, we are going through a few things and a few changes in this time period..... This last week my hubby got stuck where he went to visit a friend and pick up some of our stuff. There seemed to be one thing after another that happened, and not necessarily good things. When he was going to come home he couldn't go because of a road closure, avalanch and mud/rock slide....He waited till the next day, and what would normally take eight hours to drive, took him twelve hours!! Mother nature sure is having her fun right now! lol Click here to see a short video of the avalanche

Have you had one of those days where you wake up and just are in a bad mood and cranky? Well that was my hubby today! Everything made him mad and cranky- so at one point him and I had a little spat! (It's been a while since that has happened) One thing lead to another and that was it! He felt worthless and horrible and at one point cried a few tears (OMG I told the world he cried)! I then did what I usually do and be the strong one, sit there and talk it out with him and make him feel somewhat better (I've been doing that for 10yrs with him, and I will always be there for him and give him a shoulder if he ever needs it)..... So one thing diffused.....and another thing starts!

Then I guess it was my turn! I started crying about things, and finally talk to him about how I am feeling about everything. I am really bad at not talking about how I feel and what is going on inside my head, I just let things be until Im pretty much ready to blow. As long as everyone else is happy, has what they need or I've helped them by putting them first- I just put that before anything personal. That way I dont have to focus on things that I dont want to deal with! I know it's bad!
Once I started to be upset I then started to doubt myself about everything, if I can do the coaching for soccer, if I can start up my own buisness with jewelry and then hairdressing- it just avalanched from there!

I couldn't shake the crying, it just kept coming out of me!! It's been a while since I've been like this! It's also been about two years since I've gone through the baby blues, and the last two weeks it's hit me pretty bad. I told him about that too, and he said he can't lie and say he know's how I feel, cause he doesn't and he can't even begin to imagine how I feel or what goes through my mind about it. After about a minute of calming down I wanted to show him a picture that my gf showed me before posting it on FB-

I was very honored that I was invited to veiw the 3D ultrasound via webcast this weekend (and it killed me that I had to miss it because of my soccer clinic). So I showed my hubby the photo and as soon as I saw the pic again I just bawled! I was a mess! I know of so many people who are having babies, and I couldn't be more than happy for them all <3 And all my friends who have had babies in the last year! Babies just keep getting cuter and cuter <3

I'd like to say after ten years of being together with someone it get's easier, but it doesn't! It's something that you always have to be working at! Some things get better and some things may get worse...but in my situation I always know that no matter what I have a husband that loves me with all his heart, and on a day like today , that re-affirms it!

I almost forgot- after having a nap and waking up we were looking at the time and getting confused because the computer clock was different the the stove clock- so we sat there for a few minutes and then I remembered about the time change! My husband was sure that time was to go back an hour, I told him it was the other way around- I laughed so hard cause I could tell he was thinking so hard- I told him that you don't spring back and fall forward- it's fall back spring forward! hahaha

So this was my day, and I cannot believe that I have been this open about my day with everyone else.

You want me to do what!?!?

So this morning as we are about to leave my husband just starts laughing out loud, so I kept asking what he was laughing about but I could tell he didn't want to tell me. This got me mad! He then told me he was laughing cause he was thinking about a bunch of people running around a gym doing soccer stuff, more or less he was imagining me donig it! He has told me though over the last few days that he know's I can do it! The last three days we've actually been laughing about it.

See, I'm not your typical soccer coach, I have a lot of health issues and am not fit in the least bit! I was a little worried this morning, more of the unknown. Not knowing what was going to go on or what we'd have to do. I'm glad I can laugh at myself, cause otherwise I'd probably cry!

The other day a girl I grew up with said that She remember's how competative I was in school. I dont remember being competative but I do remember that I always ran faster than the boys in my class and I wanted to do better than them! I think that's because I was always overweight and was picked on or made fun of, so I had to do something better than those who were jerks to me. Even though I was made fun of by kids I grew up with I still considered them my friends, I went to school with these kids from kindergarden through to grade 8. What I went through made me who I am today, and I wouldn't change it for anything :o)
So today at the soccer course, all went relatively well. An hr was spend on the handbook and discussing things, then we went to the gym for 1.5hrs. We were split into three groups and the guy explained different warm ups and other things to do, so as one group went up the other's watched. When my group went up I was wondering what he was going to have us do, and it wasn't as bad as what some of the groups had done! lol Doing a figure 8 around cones is hard on the gym floor! lol passing the soccer ball through the cones running around....running through ladder rungs different warm up games....

You dont have to watch this whole vid as it's 7minutes long, but the first thing that is shown on the video is the first thing I had to do (Hence the title for today's blog) lol

I am sure glad it wasn't as bad as I thought, and I definately learned a lot! Next weekend I have a three day course, then become a certified soccer coach.

I am sure glad that I made it through my day. I think that I should have a little more confidence in myself now! I can do it........ I did it today!

I can't wait for tomorrow because we are picking up our daughter, and then the week begins again <3

Have you Ever...

Have you ever had one of those days that when you wake up, you are instantly grumpy? (I have another word but I wont use it) lol.
I woke up and was just mad about everything, and at everyone! I feel bad when I think about it now, but I was just waking up! I didn't know what I was doing! haha (wish I could use that excuse)! Lets see what I can remember....

I dont really remember, just that everything made me mad! My head was pounding and I just wanted to go back to bed! I eventually lightened up :o)

But you know it got me thinking..... You ever have those moments that you feel like you are going to burst!? Can't hold in your feelings, when your child isn't listening and talking back to you? Or your husband does something to make you mad? (it happens a lot, I know)!
What it made me wonder is, how did my mom do it, with out losing it (and she had 3kid, not 1)!! Seriously though, how did she do it...was she secretly drinking everyday? rofl just kidding mom, as I know your reading this! <3 I(Even though 30yrs ago on xmas morning, there are photo's that show you and dad would have a beer)! lol
All I can say is that I thank my parent's for who they are and how they raised me. To this day they are still more supportive than they should be, but none the less I am more thankful for them than they'd every know <3
You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family! so get used to them! lol
Now my daughter's in bed, hubby is volunteering for the night...it's just me. *Note to self ; bring in the garbage bags so they don't get ripped open like this morning! and relax for a bit!

What is going on here?!?!?! Seriously though!
So we are sitting at the table tonight eating dinner .....About half way through Kira looks at me and goes,
"Mom, did you have candy back in the olden days"!

You did not just say that to me!!! My hubby looks at me, I look at him....He's trying not to choke on his food and not to laugh his rear off! I just remember my jaw dropping open, looking at Kira and asking her "WHAT!?"

In the olden days....Um, so I replied calmly to her, that "I am only 29 years old, that is not that old"..... Yeah, that was really long time ago! ....Was there candy when i was little......I should have told her that I created the candy!!

Seriously- I have officially lost it! Where'd my mind go to....Anyone know where I might be able to find it?? lol
My daughter came home being mad with me. (oh the joy's of having a child mad at you, especially when you have no idea why yet)! She was mad that I didn't go to the school with a sled at the end of the day so she could play.....Sorry -5 and I couldn't get rid of the chill in my bones! Not going outside! So I said to her that tomorrow after school I'd be there with her sled and she can stay- She got more mad at me, cause she said there was no school tomorrow. Well I told her that there was school...it kept going back and forth for a bit. She told me it was the 24th and it's the weekend....So I go wake my hubby from his sleep to tell him that she was so angry with me....

So after explaining to my hubby why our daughter was so mad at me, he then told me that She doesn't have school tomorrow. I think I looked at him like he just was an idiot and told him it's only Wed, so she still has school tomorrow and I'll bring her sledding after school. I think I asked him about five times if he was sure he was right....that today is

So I couldn't believe that somewhere along the week I lost myself....or I lost a day I should say! lol

As of now though it is Friday! I still cannot believe that I totally did that.... So today at some point I will bring my daughter sledding.

So I've been working with different items lately, but have gotten lost as to how to finish some of them. So when this happens I put it in a container and every once and a while I will pull them out to look at them see if I come up with anything new. I have an album of most of the items on FB but here are a few of pics to see now.

Too Lazy To Type!??!

Seriously...lazy to type, is that even possible???? lol I am frazzled, I keep second guessing myself and wondering if I'm forgetting something. I want to say I'm going crazy, but I think that this is normal.... isn't it?

So my facebook page is doing well- a lot of networking with everyone, I've been doing giveaways like grazy! I love giving away items to ppl <3
I've had a few listing go off my Etsy shop, as I decided not to renew them. But Will be uploading some more!
As for being frustrated right now...I've been attemting a few items and started making and then got stumped so to speak...either my wire ran out, or I didn't like how it looked, or I just wasn't satisfied with it!
So I have about five different items that are sitting here on my table just taunting me!

I didn't realize that the 26th is on Saturday...Where does the time go??? If just flies by us! Lets see what I just realized....My baby is going to be 9 in three days, which makes me 29.....In grade 3 and talks about boys already- especially Justin Bieber. (forgive me if I spelt his last name wrong), and pretends to hate Miley Cyrus, just cuz some of the others dont like her....Oh boy, it's beginning.... DUM DUM DUMMMMMM! lol

The other thing I realized is that I had planned on starting my Blog on the 26th....I mean start my second blog! This is a journey for me that I plan on doing, that'll take me 1 yr.....I will not give away details but I will say that There will be giveaways included almost daily! Computer, Computer, Computer!

Wow! I just want to toss my computer out for a bit! I feel the computer has taken over my life!! After I write this, no more computer tonight!!! I've been trying to read up on anything that'll help me blog and help with my Etsy shop.
I've also been doing a TON of networking! I did my own 150 fan giveaway- Lucky Lady is janet! So I've been working on it, just taking my time as I want this one to be special :o)

I am a stay at home mother of my 9 yr old daughter, and am happily married. I struggle with every day things weight, sleep, money and health issues, just like every one else. Though there is something that I have never struggled with, being creative and making things with my own two hands.
I've always done something artistic, drawing scrapbooking, crocheting and my newest additions are making jewelry and attempting home made body scrubs! Finally, A little about me.

I grew up in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. Graduated school and then went to college to become a cosmetologist. In 2002 I became a first time mother to a beautiful girl <3

Since then I have struggled with many health issues. P.C.O.S. ( Polycystic ovary syndrome) is something that many woman have without even knowing it, and a lot of the effects of have PCOS cause your body to not really work the way it should. What is PCOS?

First time you meet me, I'm pretty quiet and just listen. But after a while you learn that I am more outgoing, loud, artistic, warm, trustworthy OOAK woman! (I used woman?!?!? Wow I'm getting old) lol

I've always been artistic and I always have to be doing something! i started cutting hair a few years before even taking the course! I've always drawn, love crafts, scrapbooking, crocheting, currently making jewelry, attempting to make special body soaps/scrubs and beginning a new blog.

Does it sound like I'm attempting a lot, cause it doesn't feel like it! I love making something that gives someone else joy and a good feeling. I do everything in my power to put others first and I try not to focus on the negative too much.

I have a wonderful husband, who from time to time can be a pain in the, 'you know what'! Been together for 10 yrs now- married for 8! I'm not sure where my grey hair has come from- my husband or my daughter! lol I have great love and support from my hubby and even though he might look at my jewelry and thinkg, "what in the....." he still sticks by me and tell's me to go for it!

Things are coming together

Slowly but surely things are going very smoothly for myself! I stepped out of my comfort zone the other day and approached a coffee shop owner about selling my jewelry. She asked me to come back the next day- yesterday. It went really well for me, though I was nervious and I'm sure I messed up what I was saying a few times! Come April I will bring her some items that she was interested in having! Stupid me, I should have just written down info that she was telling me....I remember cabachons, and most the colors...then corded necklaces with doughnut pendants. hmmmm

While sitting and chatting with the owner she directed me to another place to try. I figured that I might as well stop in, I mean I did have some of my jewelry with me- whats the harm right!??! Well there was no harm, just nerves, but what ended up of it? She took four items from me to have in her store. Then I bought a few beads from her! lol

I'm not worried about making money at this point, I just want to get my items out there for people to see and enjoy! I know what it's like to find something that you love and makes you feel great, so if I can do that for someone- then GREAT!

I figure out that I have to write a bit about myself so everyone can get a feeling of who I am.....So tomorrow I'll do that! (Me, procrastinate-NAW!)

BTW I did some computer shopping tonight- Ugh I was feeling great about it all, UNTIL I saw the total of things! Here's a photo or two of some things I am now waiting for.

Not Sure

Here I am this morning with a million things running through my head. As Etsy held it's first live symposium from NY, the discussions that I did get to see gave me a lot to think about!

My number one, top priority right now is my blog and the maind descision that I've been struggling over is if I should start a new blog or keep this blog (for my new idea). Your feedback is more than welcomed on this one. I mean it is a way for me to get exposure for my jewelry, but at the same time I want the blog to be found easily (by the name of it/which is going to be about what Im doing).

Does this even make sense to anyone? lol I dont want to spill out the beans before I start my one year journey- But it is a challenge for myself to do this one thing every day...actually it's a challenge to do almost anything every day!

An unexpected post from me

I was planning on writing a blog today about myself- a sort of 'get to know me' kinda thing....but I am not really up for it tonight. I got new's last night about my nephew (the pic) who's just over a year old- is in the hospital. All I can say is thank goodness his father (my brother inlaw) was running late for work, (he happens to be a fireman and was a paramedic), and that I really do find it important to take a course for knowing how to properly do cpr!
My nephew, Jagger. He stopped breathing twice, both times his father revived him. They are in the hospital and they have him in the ICU. The cardioligist had a look at his heart and everything has come back fine.
Okay then- that's gotta be a good thing, right???
Now they are running more test's because they are thinking it might have been some sort of seizure, so the neurologist is now doing test's...checking his brain.
So we are all waiting for a call from my sister (she said she'd call if anything has come up). . Which as a parent I can't even imagine what my sister has been feeling!
Needless to say, today I haven't been creative at all!
Well, I am off to bed!

New to the Blogger world

I am wondering what the difference is between blogging and tweeting. LoL I guess there is a difference in them, this being the big one (being able to post more than a hundred something words)! I am watching video's on how to use this site, as back in November I created this and got frustrated cause I couldn't figure it out. But here I am.

I just sent off some of my items to a wardrobe stylist in MI. I hope that Anna is pleased with the one we worked on together! (Could you imagine flipping through a magazine and seeing an add with a model wearing something that you crafted)?!?! Crazy!

Did I mention that I can't wait for winter to be over??? I can't wait to be able to do farmer's markets and such this summer! I hope that you enjoy my bog....well what I have started as my blog so far! lol
